Papaya Smoothie

Papaya is a comparatively cheap and easily available fruit that has a sweeter and slightly musky taste. This healthy fruit is rich in vitamins, especially vitamin C, folic acid and vitamin A, minerals and dietary fiber. Papaya is believed to aid digestion, prevent constipation, improve immunity, lower cholesterol levels and protect skin. It has anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties. Papaya is often included in the weight-loss diet owing to its high fiber content. This fruit can be eaten raw, or in the form of salad or juice.
